Analytics that answer a question

Today’s dashboards report what happened — completions, submissions, headcount. The questions administrators actually ask are comparative: is this cohort behind the last one, and which lesson is where people stop.

That means cohort-over-cohort comparison and per-lesson drop-off, not more totals.

Bulk operations

Enrolling, moving and removing people one at a time is fine at twenty and untenable at two thousand. CSV import exists for creating people; the same treatment is needed for moving them between cohorts and for enrolment changes after the fact.

Certificates worth showing

Certificates are issued and verifiable. They are not yet something a learner wants to post. Templates that an organisation can lay out itself, with its own branding, and a public verification page that looks deliberate.

Instructor availability

Grading queues assume every instructor is available all the time. Assignment rules that respect who is actually teaching a cohort, and a way to hand a queue over.
